The International Forum on Education, a part of the China–Eurasia Expo 2023, was held on Sept. 15 in Urumqi, Xinjiang. XJAU held the Sub-Forum on Deepening the Integration of Agricultural Science and Education.
With the theme of “Deepening educational cooperation for a brighter future”, the International Forum on Education comprised the main forum, five sub-forums, an exhibition on the achievements of Xinjiang-based universities along with an opening ceremony and closing ceremony. Educational ministers or ambassadors from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Georgia, as well as representatives from UNESCO and the Secretariat of the SCO, attended the opening ceremony virtually or in person and delivered speeches. Over 400 guests, experts and scholars from 20 countries participated in the event.
